Tempered Rice


Recipe:

500g rice
1tbsp oil
1'' rampe
2 Bombay onions chopped
1 tsp salt
curry leaves 6-7
3 cardamoms
3 cloves
ginger paste 1tbsp
10 pepper corns
1/2 tsp turmeric
water necessary to cook rice

Method:
Heat rice cooker and add oil. once heated well add ginger paste, all spices and onion. fry till the onions lightly brown. add washed and drained rice. fry for few minutes. add necessary amount of water to cook the rice, turmeric and salt. cook till the rice is done. serve with side dishes of vegetables and meat/fish.
