Calves Liver 250g
Salt 1/2 tsp
Water 1 cup
Onion large 1 chopped very finely
Ginger paste 1tbsp
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Curry leaves 6
Cinnamon stick 1''
Red Chille powder freshly roasted 2 tsp
Roasted curry powder 1 tsp
Tomato pureed 1
Vegetable stock 1 cup
Oil for frying 1 tbsp
Wash the Liver as a whole piece and drain excess water.
Marinate the Liver with pepper, vinegar and salt. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
Boil the liver with 1 cup of water for 10 minutes.
Once boiled, cut in to small cubes and keep aside. Keep the boiled water aside too.
Then in a pan heat oil and fry in the garlic, ginger paste, curry leaves, and other spices.
Add the roasted curry powder and chille powder stir in
Add the finely chopped onions and stir till they become soft and a paste like mash is created.
Add in the pureed tomato. Stir.
Then add the marinated water and stock bring it to boil and add in the liver pieces.
Cook for 5 minutes till the gravy becomes thick. adjust the salt to taste.
